APRIL UPDATE

Well it's all going well in the band at the mo. We've played some mental shows in recent weeks, Brixton and Manchester were seriously rocking, and thank you to everyone who was there and made it so - you were awesome...

As for next - we have just announced a gig in Sunderland on 18th April with our brothers - the "Former Cell Mates".

We have the awesome "Punk n Bowl" fest coming up on 10th May playing with Virgins (FL).
And then it's back for our 2nd tour of Germany and a quick stop in Arnhem, Holland.

We will also be announcing dates for Portsmouth, Newport and London shortly.

Newport / Germany / Gigs

Hi everyone,

Firstly a huge thankyou to our brothers in Newport (particularly Tom and Kerry) who had us there last Friday for our first gig with Wes. We had one hell of a blast!

Second up - the finishing touches to our second tour of Germany is are currently being added and we are well excited to be heading back there this year - and can confirm Jose the Mexican will be joining us once again..

Finally we are still looking to book as many gigs as possible this year, it's been a bit slow recently whilst we got added Wes, but now that's done, you can bet we'll be playing some place near you in the UK very soon...

Easy brothers....

Well unfortunately Ian Smart has left the band after an awesome 10 years with us. We really wish him all the luck in the world with his new project....

But - we've wasted no time in replacing him with Wes Wasley of One Car Pile Up, Billy No Mates, Snuff, Consumed and many others fame.....

Our first gig with Wes will be 20th Feb in Newport South Wales..

New album update

MILLOY – Update April 2008

So yeah – we have finally finished the rehearsals for our new album and other than a few little bit’s here and there, we’re in the studio at the end of this month to record our second full length album…  And we love it…

The sessions have seen the band completely re-invent the way the songs are written, with both Ian and Beefy asserting their own quality control on to their writing, it’s meant that little to no time has been wasted on pieces that just didn’t cut it and the inputs Brigga and Bedi have therefore added much more in terms of dynamics to what were already rocking tunes.

Jim’s trademark voice is on top form, and with so much more to work with in terms of songs, it has enabled him to demonstrate much more of his range.

The songs display considerable differences in structure to previous releases, but of course we’ve ensured there will be numbers on the album that will deliver the now obligatory in your face punk rock.

So far we’ve agreed releases with “Household Name Records” for the UK market, “Boss Tuneage” for Europe and Japan, and “Poison City Records” of Melbourne Australia look like they may release a double album featuring the new album and of course More Than a Machine.  Hopefully we’ll have some other labels on board once the recording is completed.

Also we will be covering much of the UK this summer and we are in the process of putting the finer details to our first tour of Germany due in October, which we’re totally buzzing about.

Tally ho for now – we’ll let you know how the sessions are going later this month…
