New album update

MILLOY – Update April 2008

So yeah – we have finally finished the rehearsals for our new album and other than a few little bit’s here and there, we’re in the studio at the end of this month to record our second full length album…  And we love it…

The sessions have seen the band completely re-invent the way the songs are written, with both Ian and Beefy asserting their own quality control on to their writing, it’s meant that little to no time has been wasted on pieces that just didn’t cut it and the inputs Brigga and Bedi have therefore added much more in terms of dynamics to what were already rocking tunes.

Jim’s trademark voice is on top form, and with so much more to work with in terms of songs, it has enabled him to demonstrate much more of his range.

The songs display considerable differences in structure to previous releases, but of course we’ve ensured there will be numbers on the album that will deliver the now obligatory in your face punk rock.

So far we’ve agreed releases with “Household Name Records” for the UK market, “Boss Tuneage” for Europe and Japan, and “Poison City Records” of Melbourne Australia look like they may release a double album featuring the new album and of course More Than a Machine.  Hopefully we’ll have some other labels on board once the recording is completed.

Also we will be covering much of the UK this summer and we are in the process of putting the finer details to our first tour of Germany due in October, which we’re totally buzzing about.

Tally ho for now – we’ll let you know how the sessions are going later this month…
